NORFOLK HOUSE – BIRMINGHAM

November 2017

We were approached by London and Scottish Properties who required the loading bay floor of Norfolk House to re coated. The contract value of this project was £8064.00, the works were completed in 7 days.

The floor was very badly worn, there were some sections that had high amount of grease and oil which we had to remove before coating. We used a shot blast machine which abrades the floor removing existing floor coating and a thin layer of concrete. The steel shot and the debris are sucked up back into the machine and are separated with an electro magnet.

After the floor prep we applied one coat of Resuseal WB Epoxy Resin Floor coating primer, this was then left to dry overnight. A further 2 coats of Resucoat HB Epoxy Resin Floor coating finish was applied over a 2 day period.

Demarcation lines were required for the parking spaces and pedestrian walkways, we was also asked to insert Disable bay logos, walking man logos and large letters.
